When one product variant is sold out, make all other variants of that product sold out as well.

Hello folks,

I’m trying to set up my one-of-a-kind products so that when one product variant is sold out, it automatically makes all variants of that product sold out as well.

I have one-of-a-kind products that can include an accessory if selected. I use variants for this:

variant 1) product w/o accessory.

variant 2) product with accessory.

The problem is that when I sell either variant, the item is gone. I can’t sell the other variant. So, I need all variant to show “sold out” when any variant is sold out.

Any help would be appreciated!

This functionality can only be achieved with an app. This one should do the trick: https://apps.shopify.com/connected-inventory

From the description, it tracks variants inventory within connect group.
