When automatic order archiving is activated, the following orders are automatically archived:

  • orders that are paid for and fulfilled
  • orders that are fully refunded

Here are the detailed steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Checkout.

  • Scroll down to the Order processing area.

  • Under After an order has been fulfilled and paid, or when all items have been refunded, do one of the following:

  • Uncheck Automatically archive the order to disable automatic archiving.

  • Check Automatically archive the order to enable automatic archiving.

  • Click Save.
