Why am I getting no sales after 500 sessions on my online store?

Pretty much I’ve had my store open for around a month and I have had 500 sessions in total and 0 sales and only around 5 abandoned checkouts. Most of those sessions have came from tiktok ads. I don’t know if its my website, i’m targeting the wrong audience, or something else. Will someone be able to check my website and see if I’m doing anything wrong?

Hi @r3fine !

Kate here from the PageFly Shopify Landing Page Builder App. Congratulations on your 500 sessions milestone! Based on my experience, I’d like to share some suggestions that could further improve the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) for your store.

1. Add the favicon

A favicon can make your store stand out and be memorable. But your store has not set up it yet. Could you please take a look? You can access to add this favicon from theme settings.

2. About the hero banner

Currently, the hero banner lacks appeal. A more effective layout could include: a Background Image, Heading, Paragraph, and Button with:

  • The image should highlight your product.
  • The heading needs to extend beyond just your store name to better introduce the product.
  • The call-to-action (CTA) must be prominently displayed with a clear message.
  • The CTA’s wording should motivate users to engage or experiment, encouraging exploration over immediate purchase.

You can check this image for preference:

3. Product details section

  • Product title: provide key information about the product: For example: Unisex Refine Hoodie 100% cotton
  • Ensure the product price is prominently styled for high visibility.
  • Add a size guide to the product description and information section.
  • Implement swatches for selecting color variations.
  • Incorporate additional images featuring models; this is crucial for showcasing clothing products.

You can check this design for preference:

4. Add more information section on the homepage

  • Testimonials or Reviews: Showcasing customer testimonials or product reviews builds credibility and trust, influencing potential customers’ buying decisions.

  • Easy Contact Access: Ensure visitors can quickly find your contact information or a link to your contact page if they need to reach out.
  • Social Media Links: Including social media icons linked to your profiles encourages visitors to engage with your brand on other platforms.
  • Trust badges section: This is especially important in the online sale, where customers are often concerned about product quality and payment security.

5. Add shipping and return information on the footer

Offer transparent details about shipping durations, fees, and return procedures. This clarity builds trust and lessens any hesitation to purchase.

I hope that these information will help you increase the conversion rate.

Have a nice day

Hi there,

I took a look at your store.

I think your logo and store branding is sleek and has good potential. However, I immediately noticed a lack of content. I’d recommend visually explaining your brand and its purpose for existing (Can’t be “making money” ).
Along with this,

Your product photo is good but id get some close up shots that show the fabric quality.

If you’re up for it, i’d also recommend grabbing a good-looking friend and hire a student photographer and get some nice consistent photos with your products in order to get to the next level for your brand.

Along with this, I guarantee you would benefit from having product descriptions that entice your target consumer to make a purchase. With our free app Crowly, it’s easy to A/B test descriptions to find one that converts well. Feel free to reach out if you want to try our paid plan. I can get some credits sent over to you.
