Please elaborate
No I feel comfortable discussing on this platform
Hello @Jp39 ,
We are OneCommerce - an eCommerce Solution Platform.
We’ve seen your site and notice a few things that you may want to change to improve user experience and boost sales. Here is a few suggestions:
1. Logo: The logo seems a little bit basics, not eye- catching and the brand name can’t be read which is not good for your brand awareness.
2. Contact info: Consider to remove the sentence “for more information you can email us at”, since you describe it as “Info”, just leave your email there.
3. Meaningless: This section sounds meaningless, try to make it more appealing with your own story (how you come up with the idea? Why you choose this product?). The Pinterest link should be added under the contact info section.
4. “SHOP NOW”: When we clicked the “Shop now”, it lead us to the collection page, and the collection page lead us again to the home page, which is confusing and unnecessary. Kindly check your theme store again and make it directly lead to the product page.
- Should name this as “Product Page”
5. Testimonials: consider to add your product reviews to build trust and increase the chance of likelihood to purchase
Above is a few suggestions you may want to take. Contact us if you need any further support in building your site more professional here . Please hit the Like Button or mark this as Accepted Solution if you think this is helpful, it means a lot to us.
Regards,
OneCommerce team.
Hi @Jp39
This is Richard from PageFly - Landing Page Builder App.
Welcome to Shopify Community! I have checked your Jewelry store, and if you don’t mind, I have some suggestions for your site, hopefully they can drive conversion for your business.
1. General
- Font style: While font style is just to improve visual design, it can actually help you create credibility to your store. I suggest you choose a different font family that can display your store’s characteristics. For example, for a jewelry store, you can choose a more feminine font like Cormorant for heading and Heebo for body text - it will somewhat look like this
- Header: Customers clicking on Catalog will expect to see a list of products. Having only 1 product in your category will make it feel like your store is not finished. Instead, you can create a menu that directly links to your product page.
- Footer: The footer layout can be improved: I suggest you use 3 blocks only. For the second block (the middle one), you can remove the duplicated hyperlinks, and the message and be added into Our mission to shorten the heading.
2. Home page
- Hero banner: Ensure that the message and the button stay in the above-the-fold area (the first area you see when opening the page, without scrolling down). This will help you reduce bounce rate, as customers can easily catch the first message of your store. Aside from this, make sure the background image has high quality - I suggest using images with at least 1200px in width.
- Announcement bar: There’s a big spacing here which makes it look like it’s a bug - you may want to recheck it
- Featured product: If you only have a product, using this section will create a big blank space here, which makes your store look unprofessional.
Instead, you can create a section with a layout like this:
3. Product page
- Reviews: You may want to create a separate sections for reviews, as it’s creating a blank space on left side.
Furthermore, for the upcoming Valentine’s Day, will you run any campaigns? Here are some promotion ideas for your campaigns, I hope they will be useful for you.
Personalize Your Offer for Valentine’s Day
Gift-giving is almost like a ritual on Valentine’s day. You can make the most out of it by offering products around Valentine’s theme.
- If you already have products that people buy on Valentine’s Day, give them a little touch of love. It doesn’t matter if you’re selling a digital or a physical product.
- If you don’t have a physical product, you can still curate special Valentine’s Day offers around your services that can be used on Valentine’s Day like “two for one” or “buy one, get one” deals.
Mention Your Delivery Time & Rates Clearly
Delivery time is one of those things that can make or break your business. And if it’s some holiday, buyers take the delivery dates too seriously. To convert these visitors into potential buyers, mention your delivery dates clearly across your website, app, and emails. Also, specify the last date to place an order to reach on time.
Create Gift Guides
As mentioned earlier, Valentine’s Day is the season of gift-giving. But, when it comes to finding a perfect gift, people have what’s called a perpetual dilemma.
You can do this by making Valentine’s day gift guide. Break the guide into sections based on gender, interests, or personality traits like this:
- By Category: Valentine’s Day gifts for sisters, mothers, friends
- By Price Range: Best Valentine’s Day gift under $25, $50, $100
I hope these suggestions can be helpful for you. Good luck with increasing sales for your business!
