Why am I getting visitors but no sales on my mobile accessories store?

Hi! I have started a new shopify store selling mobile accessories. I have spent money on tiktok ads and had about 700 visitors. The problem is that there are no sales. 700 visitor but 0 sales! I have readen many discissions here but they didnt help me. Im selling only in sweden, so my website has one language for now. Can you give me some tips? TeknoShoppen

Thanks

700visitor, then how many add to cart? How many begin checkout? Maybe we should have a look the conversion rate.

After visit your website, my opinion is that maybe the user experience is not good, item no attractive, annoying pop-up, not enough safety etc.

Thanks! I will try to do better design!

@abd981g While you work on redesigning your store, also work on techniques that can help with better conversion. And the problem with social media ads is that they just get visitors to your store without telling you the quality of those customers.

Consider having an AI-powered salesbot on your store that can help customers with product recommendations, upsell, cross-sell and answer all queries just like a human. This will ensure higher conversions. Some chatbots I would recommend is SalesGPT, Manifest, Zipchat.

Hello @abd981g ,

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s disheartening to hear about the lack of sales despite significant traffic from TikTok ads. Selling exclusively in Sweden with a single-language website is a solid strategy, but there may be other factors affecting your conversions.

Firstly, ensure your website’s user experience is seamless and optimized for mobile devices since you’re selling mobile accessories. Additionally, consider refining your targeting for TikTok ads to reach your ideal audience more effectively.

Moreover, incorporating social proof can significantly boost trust and encourage conversions. Have you explored adding recent sales notifications or customer testimonials? I recommend checking out the Iconic Sales Pops app. It seamlessly integrates with Shopify and could provide the extra credibility and urgency needed to convert those visitors into customers.

Wishing you success with your Shopify store journey!

Hi, @abd981g !
Thanks for reaching out in our Community Forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

Congratulations on launching your new shop. You mentioned that you set up some ads on TikTok but have not had your first sale yet. Since your site is optimized for one language, you will want to ensure that the advertisements are optimized for your targeted audience. You will want to review your Shopify Analytics to take a closer look if your customers are adding products to the cart, reaching the checkout page, etc. You can also review our guide on How To Make Your First Sale to learn more.

Hey Abd,

Your shop looks pretty nice overall.
Some thoughts:

  • Ensure you are optimizing for conversions on your ad platforms. If not, your visitors’ intent-to-buy will be much lower.
  • Make sure your checkout is functioning correctly
  • your product photos look great, a lot of your products dont have any descriptions!! This is your opportunity to entice and elevate the appeal of your products.

If you’re interested, I just launched my free Shopify app Crowly. It’ll allow you to generate and optimize your products’ pricing and descriptions very quickly. You should see improved conversions after about 300 product page views.

It’s very helpful! Hopefully, I will be able to design better next time!

It’s exceptionally useful! Ideally, I will actually want to configuration better sometime later!
