Hello allinwan,

Why not showcase your product on the carousel on the landing page? There is no CTA on your home page and it is better if your business focuses on one category at a time, which will give your brand more authenticity.

You need to look a bit into the aesthetic of the site. Hope it helps.

Hi allinwan,

I would suggest you to explore more about design.

CTA is a call to action, something like a buy button.

But if we look at your store we need to take care of many aspects

  1. Mainly design aspects like color, font, font size, position, etc.

  2. Your carousel doesn’t have any information related to what you sell and the image are grainy.

  3. Your store is a general store, so you need to categorize your products well, in a way your customers are not confused about what to buy.

  4. Make your product images a bit appealing.

  5. After taking care of your website, you need to strategize your ad. Your ad needs to be appealing and it should convey how your customers can benefit from your product, why should they trust you, and many other such aspects in your ad.

  6. You should create different ad sets to target a specific audience.

And I believe you have done enough market research and trend analysis before choosing the products that you have listed.

Hope this helps

HI @allinwan

I would suggest you to start using fb campaigns to get some traffic to your stores. At this time when the competition is top-notch it is becoming extremely difficult to get organic traffic on your store.

Paid marketing is the way how almost all the e-commerce store owners driver there sales from.

You will need to put your products in front of users, and paid fb campaigns are the quick way to achieve that.

Try targeting lookalike of your past purchasers, this way you optimize campaign to find people with closest resemblance to people most likely to convert on your store. If you have significant abandoned cart, try retargeting campaigns. Most of sales for our clients comes in with this campaign. Try running prospecting campaigns for initial 30-45 days and once you have enough conversion start retargeting

Use this campaigns, we have seen our clients getting significant part of their sales by following below strategies:

  • Cart abandoned campaigns - Show ads to people who have left cart abandoned on your store
  • Best Seller Campaigns - Show people who visited your store in the last 30 days, a carousel ad of the best seller in your store. The data is refreshed on daily basis.
  • Discounts/Sales Campaigns - Give discount coupons to your existing customers who might be interested in a product
  • Prospecting Campaigns - Find new audience which are similar to people who have visited or purchased from your store.
  • Social Media Base Campaigns- Target audience who engaged with your social media posts/ads.
  • Cross-sell /Upsell Campaigns- Cross sell or upsell products to audience who have already made a purchase from your store

You can also try this app Addyz. Its an ad automation and optimisation platform. It comes with predefined campaign strategies for full funnel audience targeting. This can make a significant difference in your advertising and improve your conversion rates, even with a low ad spend.

Hello Shopify team, am new to Shopify I consult someone and he told me that what I need to do is Shopify marketing, please I need someone that can give me full details of Shopify marketing and explain to me please I need someone to help me out.

Thanks in advance

Sardius

I too have had maybe 1 sale in the past 3 months. This is horrible!! I find it difficult to make money on shopify. I have advertised on FB & instagram. I have had more direct sales on FB by sending a request for payment through Fb. This defeats the purpose of having a website. There are so many add on things that you have to do to the website that are not told up front. You think when you open a shop using the step by step set up this would be included in the steps. Shopify is definitely not a beginner friendly platform.

You will receive many emails or responses from developers pushing their PAID help to improve your site, but if you can’t pay their fees then you are dead in the water.

I have used weebly in the past and the only drawback with them is they do not have a built in payment gateway which is why I went with shopify. But I am looking into other platforms that are more uses friendly, have a good support team and no not nickleing and dime you to death to get results. I have found once you fix one issues there are many more to address, which means more money. With all the money I have invested I could have saved up and had a professional do the job. So just know to make money on shopify you have to pay the piper.

Selling skills are critical in organizations that rely on ongoing buying from customers or clients. The ability to build relationships with customers, persuade them to make purchases, and generate repeat business is at the heart of selling. Sales is a component of a company’s marketing and promotions. Good websites are well organized and follow a structure. They are not cluttered, but they are clean and professional. By creating a thoughtful organizational structure in your website, site visitors will be able to better navigate and find the content in your site. Or you can always choose to sell your goods on any Craigslist alternatives.

Thank for your reply. Very helpful and I have found a great alternative.

Hey, I went through your store and it looks pretty neat and clean. First of all congrats on the amazing store you have. I Am listing down some of the few areas you should target to get more user engagement and traffic:

1- In your product pages, try to use High-Quality images and self-explanatory descriptions - This will help users to know about the product a lot better and hence help with conversions.

Some of the techniques you can use would be -

-Add an option on the images themselves wherein users can zoom in/out to allow the user to get a better look at the product.

-Add realistic product images along with 4-5 shots of the same product from different angles - this leads to trust and loyalty from the users’ end since they trust what you show them.

2-Free shipping is the biggest enticement for shopping online. From what I see on the store, free shipping isn’t an option as of now. These are some ways you can include it in your store -

-Provide Free shipping as a standard (normal delivery) and shipping charges applied for expedited (faster delivery)

-Provide Free shipping for orders above a certain value. And I see that free shipping isn’t an option right now.

Either of these will help you get more sales/increase conversions.

3- I noticed that social poof is missing. Reviews, testimonials, endorsements etc are a must-have. It is a known fact that we rely on other people’s opinions or actions to decide on our own and hence these are essential for you like a lot of other successful stores online.

4- Have an organized navigation bar at the top - Home, Products, About us, Contact us, etc to allow easier navigation. This makes the entire process more legit and organized. The “Contact Us” section can also have a form to be filled by the customers in order to get their queries resolved.

5- Adding product stickers/trust badges can help increase your sales by tapping into powerful psychological triggers such as scarcity, social proof, and urgency. Also having graphic and personalized stickers on products will help grab the attention of customers easily and nudge them to purchase. This will also help you boost sales during the holiday seasons with badges like- Fast selling, limited stocks, etc.

6- You can use animated product labels to grab customer attention by telling a visually appealing story on your product images through animated badges that transform your product details page into a product story page.

7- Add a little more to your “About Us” section - these sections are important as they lead to customer trust and loyalty.

8- Resourceful guidance & help: Not having support or not having adequate information is a huge frustration for a lot of online buyers. Consider adding a chat plugin to your site for people to contact you while they are shopping.

9- Provide social Icons on the footer section.

10- Make external links open in a new tab. This will help reduce dropouts.

11- Add filters(like size, color, etc) to the collections to help the visitors narrow down their searches. The easier you make the search process be, the better would be the engagement and thereafter sales

12- Site speed is very crucial. Make sure you have a fast loading speed, this will help increase conversions.

Hope this helps
