Why is my dropshipping store not making sales?

Hi everyone, it’s been three months since I started dropshipping, I got a lot of trouble and I try to be responsive, if a shop does not work I change theme or products. Moreover I invest a lot in the ads, so i get a lot of traffic but I have no return, nothing, it’s been 3 weeks since I even had an abandoned cart, I feel like I’m throwing my money out the window, I really need help

i mean… it is worst

Hi, @Tidiane !

Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your store link, I would be happy to share some feedback on your shop!

I understand that you have taken a lot of time to set up your store and were expecting to see sales right away, unfortunately this is not often the case. It’s very common that merchants will need to make small adjustments to their store design and advertising as each market’s customers need to be targeted differently. I can see that your store is seeing a good amount of traffic and is doing well to reach your audience. However, more work needs to be done to convert that traffic into customers.

I really enjoyed looking through your store and products, it looks like you have a lot of great options for your customers. I have split the sections up for organization purposes for you to review:

Technical verification

I have tested out your checkout and it seems to be working correctly. I would recommend adding more accelerated checkouts and dynamic checkout buttons like Shop Pay and Apple Pay so that customers can more quickly complete payment for their orders.

I also tested your store speed through Pingdom and can see that your performance isn’t optimal. This can be a factor as to why your conversion has declined as customers can’t quickly navigate your store. Although, several factors impact your online store speed, some of which you can control. This includes the use of apps, theme code, media and more. Feel free to check out our store speed guide here to have your store running at an optimal level.

Another great option is to change over to our newly debuted Dawn Theme. This is a modern and flexible theme designed for conversion and speed. In addition, it looks great on mobile. A role of thumb is to always make your design changes based on mobile view, as most buyers shop from their mobile devices.

User Interface

I do like your homepage and the use of the lifestyle banner photo, but I do suggest incorporating a product image as well, so that customers can immediately see what you are offering. Once you add a photo, you can add a captivating title, with a call to action.

Another suggestion is to update your home navigation to include tabs like Shop, Contact us, and About us. These should be chosen carefully as you want to guide the customer to what you want them to do most. If you’d like to add more tabs to your menu, I recommend adding a FAQ and a store policy section to build more trust with your customers.

I don’t want to overwhelm you with information right now. So, let me know when you’re done reading through this information, and then we can move on to how to get your learning started with eCommerce marketing.

Thank you so much for your response, i understand that my store isn’t the most optimized but i still find it weird that with all that targeted traffic i didn’t even get a single cart, that is so demoralizing but still i need to improve, so if you have some more tips i’ll take them. Shopify service is on point!
