Why are my Shopify payouts on hold?

Our payouts account has been on hold since March 28. We have suppliers to pay as well as normal operating bills. This hold is a major hindrance. I only learned of this when our payouts stopped. Shopify has sent no information on when this review will be completed, and the 2 support representatives I have reached out to offered nothing outside some boilerplate language. We’ve had our payouts account open since last summer, (we’ve had a merchant account with another company on the site for many year prior), so why perform a review several months later? Running a business is stressful. Its even more stressful when a supposed partner is hindering you and being non-communicative.
