Why aren't subscribers receiving emails sent through Shopify?

First, if you want to send emails to your subscribers using Shopify Email, your store needs to have a paid Shopify subscription plan with a payment provider set up. If your account is on the trial plan, you can create and send test email messages to yourself using Shopify Email, but not to your subscribers.

Second, if you’re already on Shopify paid plan, but your subscribers did not receive the emails, you should ask them to check if emails went to the SPAM/Promo box. In that case, you need to recheck your sender and email content.
Or contact Shopify Support to make sure your sender is not blocked.

As @AvadaCommerce correctly points out, you need to be on a paid subscription to use Shopify Email. Before troubleshooting with you, could I please ask if you’ve been following our Shopify Email guide?
