Why can't I add to the navigation menu in the Warehouse theme?

I’m using the Warehouse theme and not able to add to the navigation menu. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.

There’s two parts to adding to the navigation menus so we’ll need to determine which step may have been missed. The first step is creating the menus and links, which is where you can create the menu items and link them to their destinations (eg. products, collections, blogs, pages, etc.) as well as set up up drop-down menus.

Once that’s done, you’ll need to ensure that you have selected the right menu in the header settings of your theme. Simply navigate to the theme editor and check under the header section.

If you’ve already done both these steps and you’re still unable to add menu items, then it looks like

Adding a navigation menu to your Shopify theme is relatively simple. Follow the below steps to add a navigation menu to your Shopify theme:

  1. Log in to your Shopify account and select the online store tab.
  2. Click on Themes.
  3. Select the theme that you want to edit.
  4. Click on the Customize button.
  5. In the sidebar, click on the Header section.
  6. Scroll down to the Navigation section and click on it.
  7. Select the menu you want to display from the drop-down menu.
  8. Add links to your menu by clicking on the Add menu item button.

You can also customize the appearance and placement of your navigation menu by selecting different options in the Navigation section.

Once you have made the necessary changes to your navigation menu, click on the Save button at the top of the screen to apply the changes to your Shopify store.
