I’m unable to enter the gtin or mpn for each of my three products. Therefore, Google is unable to complete the transaction. Help!
Hey @christianiles ,
Welcome to the Shopify Community!
If you’re having trouble entering the GTIN or MPN for your products on Google, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
- If a product has an MPN or GTIN, it’s best practice to enter their value as the relevancy will help campaign performance. However, if a product doesn’t have either of these codes, then you can set the identifier_exists field to false, which will allow those fields to not exist, letting the products get approved.
- Ensure that your products are eligible for a GTIN exemption: Some products may be eligible for a GTIN exemption, such as custom or handmade products. If your products are eligible, you can apply for an exemption by following the instructions on the Google Merchant Center Help Center.
- Double-check the product information: Make sure that you have entered all the required product information correctly, including the product name, description, price, and image. If any of this information is missing or inaccurate, it can prevent Google from completing the transaction.
Overall, ensuring that your products have accurate and complete information can help ensure that they are eligible for the Google channel and can be properly listed and sold on Google.
Can you provide more details. Do you mean you have an error and you can’t add barcodes?
Or do you mean, you have no barcodes, so you can’t add it?
