Why can't I find Instagram collabs despite having 1K+ followers?

I have 1K + followers on Instagram but it won’t let me find collabs as it says I don’t have enough followers. How do I rectify this?

Thanks for reaching out about this. That certainly sounds odd, as you should be able to use the Discover feature to find brands if you meet the following requirements:

  • You’ve completed your Shopify Collabs profile
  • You have a minimum of 1000 followers on a single social media platform. For example, you need 1000 followers on Instagram, not 500 followers on Instagram plus 500 followers on Twitter to make a combined 1000 followers in total
  • You need to be located in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom
