Yeah, so I’m trying to close my store. It’s paused right now, and clicking the “Remove online store” button just loops me back to the same page.
If I try to contact Shopify via either chat or email, it asks me to first select a store to get support. I do that, and it just loops me back to the main “Contact support” page. I’ve reverified my email and everything. I don’t have any ad blockers enabled, or anything else that would interfere with page flow. I am trying to do everything I can to directly contact someone to get my store closed.
This forum is literally the only means of contact I seem to have here. So:

Thank you for reaching out here to get assistance. I understand that you have had some difficulties getting through the Help Center to contact our support team and that you want to close your paused store.
You mentioned using the “Remove Online Store” button from the paused plan page. This option is not for closing the store, but for removing the online store sales channel from the account. This makes it so that the customer facing website is no longer available.
If your store is on the Pause plan you will need to reactivate the store onto the Shopify Basic plan or Lite plan and from there you will have access to the admin once again to close the account (Settings > Plan > Close Store). The reactivation process is necessary so that you have a chance to backup your store data and any sales reports you need for your taxes at the end of the year. Once the store is closed if there is a remaining credit left over on the account that is when you will want to reach out to our live support to see if that can be refunded.

Sign into the affected store account (or choose to continue without signing in)
Search for your issue “Close store”
You will be provided some relevant support documents and at the bottom of the list will be the option to Contact Support. Click the button and you should then be provided with all the available support options at that time.
