You can’t use the online store sales channel because of an error

Is this an error you are seeing in your store admin? If yes, can you confirm what billing plan you are currently on? If it is the Lite plan, then the Online Store sales channel is not included. You will need to upgrade your plan to the Basic plan or higher, if that is the case.
You can confirm the plan you are on in your admin under Settings > Plan.
If you are on the Basic plan or higher, then you will want to sign out of the account, clear your browser cache and cookies and check for device and browser updates. Once complete, sign back into your account and test once more.
