Im testing my shopify store and when i try to buy a product everything goes on wheels till the last field. Payments. It says “This store can’t accept payments right now”. What can it be the problem and how to solve it. Thanks in advance.
Hi, @ruifigueira !
Thanks for reaching out in our Community Forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
Great job on setting up your Shopify store so far. It looks like you need to finish setting up your payment provider in order to begin accepting orders. You will want to head over to your Admin, click on Settings on the bottom left hand corner, and select Payments. From there, you will see if you already have a payment method set up. For instance, if you see [Shopify Payments](http://There%20are several reasons as to why your store is unable to accept payments despite Shopify Payments being active. The most common reason is account verification. When you’re going through a Shopify Payments account verification you’re usually notified about this via email or a banner on your admin homepage, and you may be advised to submit documentation to complete it. Please check whether you have relevant notifications and feel free to submit any requirements.), you may need to click on “complete account setup” to enable the gateway. Let me know if this is the case for you. If you are looking to enable a third party gateway, then you can follow our guide here.
If you already set up your payments and are still having this issue, it’s possible that your account is under review as well. Anyhow, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through our Help Center. In order to access our live support, you will want to follow the on screen prompts to sign in, choose your topic and issue, then scroll to the bottom of the help article to view all of the available support options.
Let me know how that goes.
