Over Christmas I closed my website as I was going on vacation. I did this by making anyone that wants to view my shop, use a password. This was mid December. I Turned it back on January 1st. I have not had a sale since.
While I don’t usually get a ton of sales, this has never happened before. I was getting a few sales a week in October and November. Looking at my analytics, I can see that people can see my shop, so I have definitely ‘turned it back on’.
Is this a coincidence? I have no idea what to do.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Hello @Ogsplosh ,
Greetings! I am Gina from the flareAI app - free sales machine.
It’s possible that the lack of sales since re-opening your Shopify store may be a coincidence and not related to the fact that you had it closed for vacation.
However, there are a few things you can consider and try to improve your sales:
-
Evaluate your products and pricing
Make sure you are offering products that are in demand and priced competitively. Consider doing market research to see what similar products are priced at and what customers are looking for.
-
Optimize your website
Make sure your website is easy to navigate and visually appealing. Ensure your product descriptions are clear and informative, and that your images are high quality.
-
Increase visibility
Consider investing in marketing efforts such as social media advertising, email marketing, or paid search advertising to drive more traffic to your website.
-
Engage with customers
Respond to customer inquiries and reviews promptly and professionally. Consider offering promotions or discounts to encourage repeat business.
-
Evaluate your competition
Keep an eye on what your competition is doing and see if there are any areas where you can differentiate yourself or improve your offerings.
It’s also possible that there may be technical issues with your website or that your audience has shifted since you closed for vacation.

Thank you Gina. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question. I believe these are things I’m already doing, but I will take a look to see if there is a way to improve what I’ve been doing.
Thank you!
