Why did the checkout price differ from the listed price?

Our store just had an order made and the price the customer checked out at was $2 less than what the listed price of the item was. Is there a reason thins could’ve happened? I looked into the Order Info and found nothing out of the ordinary and even tested it in the checkout myself and it didn’t change.

Any help would be appriciate so we can make sure this doesnt happen again. Thanks

So, without looking in the backend myself, I can only guess as to what may have caused the error. With that said, here are some possibilities:

  1. A discount code could have been applied at checkout. Maybe one you thought was inactive but isnt.

  2. There could be an automatic discount code that is active.

  3. There could be an app installed that has control over product pricing that may have changed something at checkout.

  4. If the item comes with multiple variations, it could be that one of the variations is mis-priced.

These are just a few places to look. Hope it helps.

We don’t have any discount codes or variations at different prices. We have a couple of apps but they don’t have any control over pricing; one for implimating One Per Customer limits and one to link our brick and mortar store stock to the Shpify stock. The latter I guess could effect the price but that manager of our brick-and-mortar alerted me to the issue and the price was correct on that end.

Did you maybe enable International Pricing?
