Why does my Palo Alto theme double the quantity in the cart?

So we are starting our shopify store , lately we bought Palo Alto theme and everytime i add a product with “x” quantity to cart ,

it shows the double quantity in the cart top part ( “2x” items) .

also whenever i edit cart in a page then i go back in the previous the cart drawer goes to the previous cart (unedited one )
