Why has my checkout button stopped working on my site?

The checkout button is no longer working on our site. I choose a delivery date and our local zipcode, which should work, but when I click on “checkout” nothing happens. I have tried it on my phone and multiple browsers and keep having the same problem. Now I know why our sales are way down this week. I am not sure why it no longer works. I’ve tested your store’s checkout on my end and seem to be getting the same error with the checkout button.

To troubleshoot this, are you able to test your store’s checkout button on your end using a fresh copy of a Shopify theme? This will help us determine whether or not there is any interference from a third-party code or app. To install a new Shopify theme, you can go to Online store > Themes > Explore free themes and select a theme to add to your library. From there, click on Actions > Preview, and you can then test your store’s checkout button to see if it will allow you to proceed to the checkout page.

If the issues don’t persist on the fresh theme, chances are a third-party app is interfering with how your checkout button is meant to function. If you or a developer working on your store have made any code changes recently to your theme, the newly added code may also be the cause of this issue.
