Why is my contact us form not forwarding emails?

I’ve read through other discussions regarding this topic but could not find a solution. I have the paid version of shopify and am currently using a free theme. My “contact us” page and navigation is set and I am using the “contact us form” template.

However, I noticed that although the ability to type on the contact us form works just fine, I am not receiving the information from what my customer typed in that form to my email at all. This is causing me to miss out on a lot of customer questions, concerns or inquires and I find it to be very frustrating. Please help.

Shopify is not an email hosting site. I use G Suite or now known as Google Workspace. You can set it up where emails gets forwarded to an email hosting site such as Google, Yahoo, or any other email providers or your choice.

The most common reason why WPForms doesn’t send an email after a user submits a form is that your site lacks proper SMTP configuration. To configure SMTP and start receiving emails from WPForms, make sure to set up WP Mail SMTP as explained above.
