Why is my domain SSL still pending and what can I do about it?

I’ve noticed for the last week that my domain is SSL Pending. I have not launched yet and I didn’t have it before at all just from this last week. What should I do and what does it mean? Thanks

Happy to look into this for you. The domain that is pending, was it purchased within Shopify OR is this a domain you purchased from a third-party platform that you are attempting to connect to your Shopify store? Depending on this, there are different causes for the ‘pending’ SSL status.

It looks like you added the correct DNS settings, specifically the A record that points to Shopify. However, there should only be one A record in your DNS settings in Hostinger. And it appears that you have a second one in there. Even if one is correct, this is likely causing the ‘pending’ issue.

The domain has an A record pointing to 23.227.38.65. This one is correct as it points to our credentials. There appears to be a second A record pointing to 2.57.90.16. You would want to remove this one from the DNS settings with the third-party.

After doing that, give it up to 24-48 hours to repropagate itself and clear the ‘pending’ SSL status.

The domain has an A record pointing to 2.57.90.16. I have removed.
