SSL Pending with my Shopify domain?

Hi All ! I purchased a domain from hostinger and connect it to my Shopify store but SSL certificate is pending after almost 82 hours can anyone assist me please ??

Welcome to the Shopify Community! I can definitely help you with this issue.

Generally when we see SSL certificates not pending it means there is an issue somewhere in the DNS settings for the domain. You mentioned that your domain is hosted by a third party, that is totally okay. We just need to ensure that the DNS information is setup properly so that the domain points to your Shopify store.

Next, ensure that your DNS information matches these record:

You can have only one A record and one www CNAME record associated with your domain. If your domain already has an A record or www CNAME record, then you need to change these records to point to Shopify. You can have multiple CNAME records associated with your domain, but each one must have a unique name, such as www or shop.

It can take up to 48 hours for the dns information to fully update, but I do generally see SSL certificates populate within a few hours once the information has been corrected. If you are unsure what DNS settings to change please feel free to share a screenshot of your current DNS setup or provide the domain URL for me to check.

Hi @Juni

It looks like your domain DNS has a AAAA record (different from an A record) and this can cause issues with SSL propagation. You can confirm the AAAA record using this link below:

https://www.whatsmydns.net/#AAAA/daoceanz.com

You will want to remove the AAAA record.

Can you point out with the help of screenshot where the AAAA of the DNS is
different from A of my domain daoceanz.com .Which things I need to reset
and which things I need to maintain to verify my SSL ..

Hi @Juni

I would need to see a screenshot of your DNS settings for your domain to see where the AAAA record is. Each third party domain host is different in how you edit your DNS information. You can also reach out to your domain host directly for help in finding the AAAA record.

Hi Thanks for your valuable replay !
I attached 3 screenshot of the same DNS page of the hostinger where I
bought my domain daoceanz.com.
Please check and inform me where exactly the issue is. I would want to
propagate my SSL to start my business ASAP on Shopify..

Hi @Juni looks like your domain is working as expected now. I was able to successfully load the website without any issues.
