Why is my iPhone 13 Shopify app consistently freezing?

The shopify app on my iphone 13 is frozen on the log in page. I have deleted and uploaded the app multiple times. Nothing. Unable to find Shopify cache and data in my settings as one comment suggested. Any suggestions?

I understand that you are using an iPhone 13 device. Could you please also confirm the iOS firmware version that you are using? Please note that most iOS beta versions are not currently supported or recommended, as you may encounter issues when using the Shopify app.

Many Shopify Mobile issues tend to be local to the device itself. With that in mind, I would encourage you to ensure that the device is running the most-up-date version of the iOS software (excluding beta versions), and also that the Shopify Mobile app itself is up-to-date.

If the issue persists after updating your device as per the above guides, then you can also try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Navigate to the native Settings application on your iOS device.
  • Navigate to the Shopify app within the Settings.
  • Toggle Remove all sessions on next launch to ON.
  • You will then need to relaunch the Shopify app and try logging in again.
