Anyone having issues with browser becoming unresponsive?
Is Shopify having server issues or something? My site just started freezing up for no reason.
I’m not seeing any other reports of this, which suggest it may be a local-ended issue. Would you mind sharing a few more details to help troubleshoot this?
- What browser is this happening on?
- Are you able to replicate the issue on a different browser?
- Are you able to replicate the issue after you clear your browser’s cache/cookies?
- Are you able to replicate the issue when using Google Chrome incognito mode?
- Are you able to replicate the issue on your mobile device?
- If yes ^ are you able to replicate the issue on your mobile device when using mobile data?
It’s happening on all browsers and yes I am able to recreate the issue with the above-mentioned.

Thank you for going through those questions and letting me know the outcome. The issue could be theme-specific but it is hard to determine without looking at the account directly. I would recommend contacting Shopify Support for further assistance in this case. You can reference this post so they know what troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried. You can contact Shopify Support by logging into your store through the help center, searching your question/issue, then selecting “continue” at the bottom of the page that displays the search results.

Exactly the same issue.
I am not seeing any other reports of this issue but is something we can investigate further. Please contact Shopify Support so they can look into this for you. From the looks of it, you are both using different themes, so this could be from an app that both of you use that is causing a delay, or it could be an issue with Shopify itself. In either case, we will need you to contact Shopify support so this can be investigated further.
@ESO I noticed we both use that Whatsapp Chat app. I have uninstalled it and it seems to be what is causing the issue.
Really great investigative work. If the app is the issue, then I would recommend contacting the app developer for further assistance.

Whatsapp has never been good or given me a good experience lol No big surprise it was causing the issues.…
Thank you! Mine did the same thing. Deleted the WhatsApp app and now my website is all good!
