Why is only PayPal showing at checkout after setting up payments?

I have set up shopify payments but on the shop at the time of checkout you only see the option for paypal

There are some information requirements for Shopify Payments, which is also mentioned on our set up guide, and merchants can upload all of the necessary documents directly from within their Shopify admin. Nevertheless, I’m delighted to hear that your payments account is working now.
