Hey, @mavlyco ! Welcome to Shopify Community!

When it comes to approvals for Instagram Shopping and Facebook Shop, this is something determined by Facebook and Instagram directly and Shopify doesn’t have insight into their approval process. With that said, we have a few suggestions that may help with getting your account approved. Please keep in mind that these aren’t guaranteed solutions as this concern is out of our scope of support.

  1. You may have received any details or context on the review and that may help clarify what needs to be done in order to be approved. You can check your email or the Facebook channel for this and you can make adjustments accordingly.
  2. Check the Account Quality page on your Meta Business Manager account as this may contain more information on the status of your rejected account and what you can do to resolve the relevant issues.
  3. Ensure that you have store policies, specifically Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Return Policy pages, displayed in your store and that they are visible in the footer. Facebook and Instagram may require this information made available to customers at the checkout and on your website.
  4. Ensure that the policies on your footer aren’t made as pages in your admin. Facebook and Instagram may require that the policies on your website are the ones created in Settings > Policies. If you need help setting them up, please refer to this guide.
  5. If you enabled data sharing on the Facebook channel, ensure that your Privacy Policy contains information about data sharing. The information you may need to add is found on this page.
  6. Ensure that your business complies with Facebook’s Commerce Policies and Instagram’s Commerce Eligibility Requirements.

If you need other ideas, you can check out this blog post from Ced Commerce which may provide additional insight on Instagram and Facebook rejections.

If you believe your store is in compliance with Facebook and Instagram’s terms and want to submit an appeal, or if you have already submitted an appeal and haven’t heard back yet, I recommend contacting Facebook by following the steps on this page.
