Dear,

We have this Yotpo App for some time now for the Product Reviews and to appear in Google Shopping for the reviews. That part works great and looks good.

The only problem is that:

  • the Language Text (our main language is Dutch/NL) doesn’t translate along (via G-Translate)

  • or is optional to translate (via Shopify Translate & Adapt).

We reached out over de past year to Yotpo Support, but they cannot do really anything for us.

  • Also not G-Translate as Yotpo is a 3rd party App;

  • and also in the Translate & Adapt app we cannot see or translate te review text, since it’s from Yotpo/3rd party app.

We are going more international to other European countries (like France & Germany), but the Yotpo app works to limited on the translations. We are now even Hiding the Yotpo product reviews on a seperate tab, because they are shown (by default in our main language) in Dutch/NL. This is ofcourse not the way.

  • The most Yotpo could advise is to use WEEGLOT, but we already use Shopify Translate & Adapt + WEEGLOT is very expensive.

a) Is there a (AI) Translate App on the market that can recognize and translate these Yotpo product reviews? That we can translate this automatically (or manually) perhaps.

The other option is to skip Yotpo, because we are hiding our product reviews for visitors, since it otherwise is scaring visitors away, for example; French woman seeing Dutch/NL review text.

b) which other Product Reviews App are on the Market that are European friendly (multiple translations friendly).

Yotpo seems only like for 1 language USA people and they don’t seem to be open for improving their app for multi-language-translations. Such a shame, but oh wel.
