Please Help!!!
When i go to buy a domain name a red box appears with “domain name should not contain special characters”. I don’t have any special characters. Help would be appreciated. Thank you

- Domains can contain the English-language letters a-z, and the digits 0-9.
- Hyphens can also be used but it can not be used at the beginning and at the end of a domain name. Two hyphens together is usually not permitted and also hyphens cannot appear at both third and fourth positions.
- Spaces and special characters (such as ! $, &, _ and so on) are not permitted.
- The minimum length is 3 and the maximum length is 63 characters.
- Domain names are not case-sensitive.(i.e. you may use a mix of upper or lower case letters)

Can you share a screenshot of the domain you are trying to purchase? I would also try on a new device and clear your cache/cookies and browser data, as this will create a new connection.

Hi, I have the same problem. I’m trying to create a new domain and it won’t let me, and it says that my address and city contain special characters. Did you mange to slove the problem?

This error will occur when non-English characters are used in part of your store settings or if your phone number is not in the appropriate format. Please double-check if they contain “special”/non-English characters or if there are any gaps caused by a special character/spaces that aren’t seen.

Im having problems trying to buy the domian, because when I put my adress it says: “Address must not contain special characters”. Please help.

Have you tried putting the house number first? I would also search your address on Google and see how they format it and try that as well.
