Are these bots affecting my online store's conversion rate?

I have recently started an online store within a month. I’ve managed 2 orders and about 100 sessions a day. Advertising through snapchat (for starters) was my decision. I also recently decided to make an even more funneled and optimized ad more towards my customer base. When that ad went active, the live view couldn’t keep up. 4500 sessions in a matter of 2 hours with no conversions and 2 active carts. Google analytics says 90% bounce rate and Shopify says 80%. I’m new to this, but common sense (or hope) says that 4500 sessions should convert at least 1 for starters. Are these bots? How do I get rid of them? Seeing green dots everywhere on the map was nice, but not if they’re malicious.

While it is possible that the higher than expected sessions are coming from bots, I wouldn’t be too concerned about it as they aren’t malicious but merely just crawling webpages for data.

On average, a customer will view your store around 9.5 times before committing to purchase. The number of sessions has no bearing on how many sales a store should get. Given that your store is so new, it would be common to see higher sessions but low conversion as you’re still building your brand awareness. If you keep targeting your ads to your target audience while creating content and engaging your audience on your social media pages then the conversions will come in time.
