Hello,

Thank you for answering our questions.

I’ve had my Shopify website, (RuggedEarthDesigns.Shop), for a year now and I am receiving ZERO activity on it….even when I run tests by Googling key words I KNOW are on my site, my site NEVER comes up when searching.

Please help me to make my site easily discoverable by online shoppers.

Thank you.

Thanks for providing your store link. That makes it a lot easier to give a helpful response. From checking your store, I can see right away that you need a lot more text content to help your store appear in search - at least 10 times as much content. Right now, your product pages have very little text, and from a quick look, I didn’t see blog posts or articles on your site to help with SEO. In responding to another question, I checked in with our SEO expert, Christina, and she had some good tips for D2C SEO:

“Your best bet for ensuring D2C success is to have your products well optimized. Shopify already has built-in tools to make your products appear organically in Google Shopping’s tab, but the best way to ensure success here is to optimize your product titles, URLs, and descriptions. Having descriptive images (that includes alt text) goes a long way as well. You’ll want to make sure you have Google Merchant Center setup as well so you can see how your products perform in organic shopping so you can make changes as needed.”
