This morning I received two emails from Shopify. I’ve copied the text from both below. My question is, has anyone received anything like this before? I won’t click on any links in an email unless I’m positive they are legitimate and I’ve seen some scammy Shopify emails in the past. Not to mention I have no idea what they could be talking about, as my page is only a few months old and doesn’t get much traffic yet.
And I just realized the from address is a gmail. The whole thing just sounds fishy to me, but I don’t want to get suspended either.

Yes it is a scam, and you will get a lot more, just learn to ignore. Check the sender, if Gmail deletes and do not click any links for sure. Not sure if you tried to search online or here on the forum, but there are thousands of similar topics. They are trying a different text, but the tactic is the same: make some claim and, with a sense of urgency, ask to contact you straight away. They plan to use your stress from email to get you to talk to them, and then lead to different scams. Just think for a second, search online and here on the forum, and be safe.
“Shopify will only send emails from official domains such as @shopify.com, @email.shopify.com, @em.shopify.com, and @shopify-billpay.melio.com. Emails from public email services such as Gmail, Yahoo, Apple mail, or Hotmail aren’t from Shopify and should be treated as potential phishing attempts.”
But also Shopify will not use Telegram, WhatsApp, or Instagram to contact you, all scams.
But also be aware that scammers can spoof email addresses, to present an email they want so it looks legitimate,e but then again preview any link and if it sounds suspicious, again search and post if needed. For example, here is one topic from today
