bundle

Topic summary

A Shopify store owner using Printify (primarily Textiledruck Europa supplier) is experiencing an issue where customers can only purchase bundles of two or more products instead of individual t-shirts and posters.

Suggested troubleshooting steps include:

  • Printify settings: Verify that only individual products (not bundles) are synchronized to Shopify; check for minimum order quantity rules
  • Shopify product configuration: Ensure products aren’t marked as bundles and can be added to cart with quantity 1
  • App conflicts: Look for and disable bundle-related apps (Bundler, Bold Bundles, Quantity Breaks, etc.) that may be forcing multi-product purchases
  • Theme code: Check if custom code is enforcing bundle requirements; test with a default Shopify theme like Dawn to isolate the issue
  • Scripts: Review cart/checkout settings for scripts forcing minimum order quantities

The issue remains unresolved, with community members offering diagnostic guidance but awaiting confirmation from the original poster on which solution works.

@vilmerwallin Hi Vilmer thanks for reaching out to the Shopify community-

Here are some possible reasons and solutions:

  1. Check Printify Product Settings:- In the Printify account check if only bundled products are synchronized remove them and add individual products

  2. Check if any script or app is forcing minimum order quantity in the cart or checkout settings.

  3. Check Product Variants & Minimum Order Rules

  4. Check if any bundle apps are conflicting

  5. Last can be theme code editing

Let me know if this works or if you need further assistance.

You can create the first Bundle part same product with pricing. Look at this https://www.pilates-girl.com/products/duo-wrist-weights I create the Bundle with custom coding and the second block of Bundle is the same product price.

Hey there @vilmerwallin If you are currently using any bundle app or multiple, it could be the reason as their features could be conflicting with the store’s functionality. If that’s the case, I’d suggest you disable them for the time being and check if that’s where the issue originates from.

Just take a closer look at your Printify settings. It’s possible that the way you have your products bundled together might be causing the issue. Can you check if there’s a setting that’s requiring customers to buy multiple products at once?

  1. Check Your Product Listings in Printify
Go to Printify > My Store > Products.
    Click on a product (e.g., a T-shirt).
Make sure it’s a single item, not part of a pack or bundle.
If it’s part of a bundle, duplicate it and remove the extra variants or linked products.

  2. Check Shopify Product Settings
Go to your Shopify Admin > Products.
Open one of the problematic products.
    Make sure it:
Is not marked as a “bundle”.
Has no app-generated variants that include multiple SKUs.
Can be added to cart with quantity 1.

  3. Check for Installed Apps
Go to Shopify Admin > Apps.
Look for any apps related to bundling, upselling, or cart rules (like “Bundler”, “Bold Bundles”, “Quantity Breaks”, etc.).
If you find one and don’t want it anymore, try disabling or removing it and test your checkout.

  4. Check Theme Code (if customized)
If you or a developer added custom rules in your theme’s code, especially on the cart or product page, those could force bundles.
If you suspect this, you can preview your site using a default Shopify theme (like Dawn) and see if the problem persists.

If you’re still stuck after trying the above, feel free to share a link to a product page, and I can take a look.
