Can customers see my store features before the free trial ends?

I started free trial a week ago and I finished setting up my store. So today I just purchased a plan so that I can launch my store and sell from today but… it seems like even I chose a plan I still need to wait till my trial finish in 7 days. So my customers can’t even see any of the features on my store.. am I right or I missed something to set up??

Once you are ready to launch go to Online Store > Preference > Password Protection > remove the check mark “Enable password”.

Congrats on setting up your new store. It sounds like you’re off to a wonderful start and you’re ready to launch. What an accomplishment! I’m happy to provide you with some more information.

Once you pick a plan, you can start selling right away regardless of whether you’re trial is up. When you pick a plan, your account is enabled with the features of the selected plan. However, you will not actually be charged for the plan until your trial runs out. You can see your upcoming payment by going to Settings > Billing from your Shopify Admin. This means that your customers will be able to place orders and checkout now that your plan is active.

May I ask if you have a password page enabled? This may be the reason that your customers are not able to access your storefront. To check, please follow these steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Preferences.

  2. Go to the Password protection area.

  3. Uncheck Enable password.

  4. Click Save.

It’s also important to ensure that you’ve set up your payment provider. If available, you can use Shopify Payments. Or, you can choose from over 100 credit card payment providers for your Shopify store to accept credit cards.
