Hi, I have a question please…
If a customer orders a gift card through a Shopify store for someone else, can it be automatically be delivered to that person by email? And can they also post a message?
So for example, I purchase a $50 gift card for my friend and my message says “Happy Birthday etc”
Does the gift card and message get delivered automatically, or do I have to send it manually?

While digital gift cards are sent to the email address used at checkout, you can look into using an app to achieve these requests. For more information on this, I recommend checking out our Gift Cards documentation but have gone ahead and made a few app suggestions listed below you can look into:
I’d also recommend getting in touch with the app developers directly, as they will be able to provide clarification on an app’s capabilities. They will be able to share more information and confirm whether or not the app will fit your shop’s needs. To get in contact with an app developer, you can head to the Shopify App Store and select Support > Send A Message.
