Sure, you can download this information into a spreadsheet if you like. This would be a CSV product export - you can go to the product section of your admin, then hit the Export button at the top right corner of the page.
This will allow you to download all the information on your products into a Google Spreadsheet! You can then bulk edit the product description on as many products as you like.
Once you are happy with the changes, you can save the spreadsheet. Head back to your Shopify admin to the product section, then hit the Import button. Here, you can upload the spreadsheet you’ve edited, and you can set it to overwrite your current products. This is known as a CSV Import!
This will mean that once the spreadsheet is imported with the updates to the product descriptions, it will replace the previous products listed in the admin. With online stores, there are no sales representatives and so the products need to speak for themselves. Writing descriptions that persuade the customer to buy the item can make such a difference! The customers need to know; Why do they need this product? How will it make their life better? It’s best to have a description of every product that 1) describes the piece and 2) projects the voice of your brand.
