Hello! I am in the process of changing the description on all my products. Since my products are the same type of item (shirt transfers) I wanted to know if there was a way to bulk edit all the descriptions at once. I did try the bulk editor option and under “Meta Description” I pasted the new one and saved it, however it didn’t change the description when I went to view the item. Can this be done via the CSV sheets? I know it shows as HTML code under “Body”, but if i copy the correct one and paste it for each item on the CSV sheets, will it in turn be the correct description? OR am I doomed to manually change each one? Thanks for any help!
"“Meta Description” " is for SEO purposes you will want to undo that as you typically want different short more concise content there.
That works how you assume, If you copy one CSV sheets content for “BODY” into every other entry then upload it all the descriptions get updated.
A typical workflow is export products > get file> backup file > make copy > edits > upload > test
