Can I set a custom domain on the Basic plan?

Hi guys, please help to clarify.

Is it possible to set a custom domain on the Basic plan?

Quote from the help center:

“If you’re on the Shopify plan or higher and you want to sell to customers in multiple countries or regions, then you can use international domains to set up regional domains for every country or region where you have a target market.”

Have I got it right? This only refers to such domains as .fr, .de, ru etc.

.com domains can be set in any store, even on the Basic plan

P.S. Also I havent found a way to contact support. Is it even possible to message them?

You should be able to have a domain on the basic plan. You can message Shopify supports. They are available 24/7
