Newsletter footer continued showing the old store name (“lunairesau”) even after the Store name was changed to “lunaire” in Settings > General; the footer text appeared non-editable in the email draft.
Clarification: The store name in Shopify Email is managed separately from the general Store settings, so changing it there does not update email branding automatically.
Fix provided and confirmed: Update the branding within Shopify Email to reflect the new store name. The user applied the change and confirmed it worked.
Steps:
Go to Apps > Shopify Email > Create email > Manage template branding > Store name.
Change the Store name to the desired value and save.
Outcome: The issue was resolved; the newsletter footer now shows “lunaire.” No further actions or disagreements remained.
Note: Screenshots were shared to illustrate where to change email branding settings.
Hi my shopify store name is lunairesau (even though we have a different domain name so this store name doesnt get seen) and I have gone to settings > general > store name and changed it to lunaire and saved however the old name (lunairesau) still shows up at the bottom of the newsletter I am drafting. It is non editable so I dont know how else I can change it to show lunaire instead
Hello @kwaje
Could you please share your store url or the page link ( with pass if your store password is enabled ) then I can see and suggest something for you?
Best regards,

By the way, I am curious if you have anything planned for BFCM this year, but now is the time to prepare. BFCM is one of the biggest sales weekends of the year and sees the start of the holiday season as well. So every year my go-to is this BFCM Checklist. It allows me to make sure that I am making the best use of my time and resources, and it really helps take the pressure off by starting early. It is well worth the read should you be interested!
