Customer Account Setting

Does anyone know how to fix this error I get everything I have tried doesn’t fix the customer account button on the site.

Go to your GoDaddy DNS records and follows these instructions: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/domains/add-a-domain/connecting-domains/connect-domain-manual

Then you wait. It can take up to 3 days to update.

@TroyEllis Hey, I’ve seen this issue quite a few times it usually happens when the CNAME record for your subdomain (account.mycoffeefetish.com) isn’t correctly pointing to Shopify.

Here’s how to fix it step by step:

  1. Log in to your GoDaddy account and go to DNS Management for the domain.
  2. Look for any existing CNAME record for “account” if it points somewhere else (or is blank), delete or edit it.
  3. Add a new CNAME record with:
  1. Save the change and wait about 15–30 minutes for propagation.
  2. Go back to Shopify → Domains → and click “Verify connection” or “I’ve updated DNS records.”

Once DNS updates, the red “Invalid DNS” warning will clear automatically and your customer account page should start working again.

If you’ve already done this and it still shows invalid, share a screenshot of your current DNS records (just the hostnames and values), and I can help pinpoint what’s missing.
