Development Store Disappeared from Partner Dashboard

Last week I built a store using my Partner Dashboard.

Every time I would go to edit it, I would log into it through my Partner Dashboard.

A couple days after start, I received an email from Shopify asking me to upgrade for $1 within the next day.

I of course did not upgrade right away because it was a client’s store that I was still building.

I’m used to having infinite time building Development stores before transferring ownership and having client select a plan.

A day later, the store disappeared from my Partner Dashboard.

When I contacted support, they told me I had to start over and that the store I had built was somehow not created through my Partner account.

I then started all over on 11/10, and today, 11/12, I received the same (scary!) email saying I need to upgrade.

I’m terrified of losing my new development store for a client AGAIN.

Any other Partners experience this?

This does sound pretty unusual - and for sure not ideal when you’re working on a store for a client. When you’re looking at the store on the list of store in your partner dashboard, are you seeing “Development” listed as the store type to the right of the store name?
