Dsers Fufillment

Topic summary

A merchant is experiencing inventory sync issues between Shopify and DSers (their fulfillment app). Despite having stock available in DSers, products show as out of stock on their Shopify storefront, preventing customers from adding items to cart.

Core Problem:

  • Shopify’s default location is set to the merchant’s address, not DSers
  • The system won’t allow changing the location to DSers since it’s a third-party app
  • Inventory editing is blocked with the error: “Inventory can’t be edited because no variants are stocked at x location”
  • Cannot enable “sell when out of stock” option

Current Status:
The merchant declined suggestions involving additional third-party apps and specifically seeks a Shopify-native solution. The issue remains unresolved with no workaround identified yet.

I am currently using Dsers as my fulfilment centre for my online store. I have a product that has plenty of stock, but my customers are not able to add it to their cart as it is showing out of stock. In Shopify my address is the default location and its not letting me change it to DSers because it is a third-party app. The problem is i can’t choose to sell even when out of stock or change the stock for my address because Shopify is saying “Inventory can’t be edited because no variants are stocked at x location.”

Please let me know how i can work around this.

Hello,

Thanks for your response, i am looking to fix this on shopify rather than use another 3rd party app.

If you have any suggestions on that please let me know.

Thanks
