I wanted to find out if anyone has any suggestions or experience with trying to upload videos to Shopify. I found the media documentation located at:

I found this to be completely incorrect and misleading in the fact that you cannot actually upload a video larger than 20MB UNLESS it is for a product. If you go to Settings → Files → Upload files, it does not work. But if you read the documentation above, nowhere does it say that. If you read the documentation it makes it sounds like you can upload up to 1GB video files in 4K…and all these wonderful things.
So there is no way to upload a video to Shopify larger than 20MB that can be used throughout your site.
After speaking with Shopify support, she was extremely nice, they determined that it’s not possible! She couldn’t even believe the documentation was so incorrect!
I don’t see a way to upload a clean video…without using branding from YouTube or Vimeo so wanted to find out if anyone else has tried anything else.
