How do we go into our Shopify platform if we are using a template, and optimize our SEO description, page name, and short name (similar to how we do on wordpress). I want to be able to do this without complication or hiring someone.

Yes, you can easily do this yourself on any Shopify page. This is a built-in feature that you can find straight away!
Go to any product, collection, or page you want to edit in your Shopify admin. Scroll all the way to the bottom and find the section called “Search engine listing,” then click the “Edit” link.
