Hello, I started my atore in April and I have had a good amount of traffic but no sales. Can someone please help!! https://georocksthetism.com
I checked your store and I think I found the problem. Your catalog page is empty, it shows “No products found” and the products on your homepage are still Shopify’s default samples (“Product title” at $19.99). So when people visit, there’s literally nothing to buy.
The good news: your hero banner with the autism awareness designs looks great. You clearly have a real brand idea and the designs feel genuine. But those actual products aren’t published yet.
First thing to do: go to Shopify Admin → Products and make sure your real items are set to “Active” and visible in your Online Store sales channel. Also delete the sample products because they make the store look unfinished.
One more thing, I noticed you have a chat widget, a rewards program, a reviews tab, and a subscription banner all running at the same time. For a store that’s just getting started that’s a lot of noise. I’d keep it simple for now and add those back once you have products live and your first sales coming in.
The concept is there, now it just needs the products to match.
Good luck!
Welcome to the community.
I have to ask bluntly, have you checked your frontend at all? Tried to buy from your store? Or something got changed recently?
As Mateo said, you do not have products, so I wonder how you expect sales, but also how you have traffic? Hope you do not pay for some ads.
Note, there are a lot of topics you can learn from in Store Feedback from other merchants and tips they get.
Note you have lang="en" > probably some issue with code in themes.liquid, maybe some app also. Also, that font you have may be good for headings, but for smaller text it will most likely be hard to read.

Good luck, but you have some work to do.
Hey there, welcome to the community!
I really like your Autism Awareness design it feels genuine and has a lot of heart. But right now, a few small things are getting in the way of making sales.
When I go to your catalog page, it says No products found. And on your homepage, I’m still seeing Shopify’s default sample products (the $19.99 ones).
Go to Shopify Admin > Products, make sure your real items are marked Active, and that they’re set to show on your Online Store sales channel. Also, don’t forget to delete those sample products.
At the very top of your store, I can see a piece of code (lang="en">) that’s leaking out. That usually happens from an app install or a small mistake in your theme files.
Also, the fancy font you’re using looks great for headings, but it’s hard to read for the smaller text especially on a phone.
Right now, you’ve got a chat widget, a rewards program, a reviews tab, and a pop-up for email signups all going at the same time. For a new store, that feels crowded and distracting.
I’d suggest turning most of them off for now. Keep things clean, fast, and focused on your products.
Once you get your real products live and clean up the text issues, people will actually be able to buy from you. You’re really close!
I think the above comments have already covered the main issues you are having at the moment. You really need to publish the real products you wanna sell, not just default template because customers have literally nothing to buy from your site. And you mentioned that you have a good amount of traffic, so you should be fixing the issues quickly to make use of the traffic going into your site.
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
I think I fixed it, well atleast I am trying to, can you re-visit website and checkout. I would like some assistance. Is anyone willing to give one on one coaching?
everyone’s already nailed the main issue with the empty catalog so i won’t repeat that. but i’d check where that traffic is actually coming from before you fix things up. if you’re paying for ads sending people to a store with no real products listed, turn those off immediately so you’re not burning money while you get set up.
once your real products are added, spend time on the photos and descriptions before turning traffic back on. first impressions matter and you only get one shot with each visitor. a lot of people rush to drive traffic before the store is actually ready and end up wasting their whole ad budget.
You should analyze your traffic conversion funnel to see which page traffic is dropping from. Only data-driven analysis can reveal the true problems.
I did not see all the store, but here is what i found :
Some links in the footer Mobile version not working : Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Terms and conditions …
In the same section you use Gmail account for contacting, witch is less truthful, try to use a professional email contact (hello@yourstorename.com, or contact@yourstorename.com or …).
My suggestions : try to list all possible competitors how are successful, try to analyze there strategies … apply there strategies without copying what they do.
Your store should be like a Brand, do not show your store like an intermediate store.
Hi @Patricia_Gutierrez . Hope you are having a wonderful day !
Patricia, you can also add reviews, a return policy, and an about us page . People don’t buy from stores they don’t trust yet!
Hello Patricia,
I visited your store again and wanted to share a few observations from a visitor’s perspective.
First, I would recommend removing product-related content from the Legal Notice page. This section is generally intended for legal and business information, so keeping it focused and well-organized can help create a more professional impression.
I would also suggest reviewing this section again and restructuring it to make it clearer, more polished, and easier to navigate.
Regarding the email address, it seems a bit long. A shorter and more concise email address may look more professional and be easier for customers to remember.
These are simply my personal observations as a visitor. Of course, every store owner has their own vision and approach.
Keep in mind that every successful store starts somewhere. Continuous improvement, even through small changes, is what helps build a stronger and more professional brand over time. Each improvement is a step forward.
Wishing you continued success with your store!
You already have something important: a clear mission and a niche people can connect with. Since you are getting traffic but not sales, I would focus on the buying path before trying to bring in even more visitors.
A few practical things to fix first:
-
Do not lead with sold-out items
Several products near the top of the homepage are unavailable. Move sold-out products lower down, hide them from featured sections, or replace them with in-stock best sellers. A first-time visitor should reach something they can buy immediately. -
Give shoppers a clearer route based on who they are buying for
Instead of sending everyone to a broad catalog, create clear paths such as:
-
For autistic adults
-
For autism moms and families
-
Gifts for teachers and advocates
-
Under $25 gifts
That makes it easier for visitors to find something meaningful quickly.
-
Choose a few hero products rather than showing too many item types at once
Pick 3–5 products that best represent the brand and make those the focus. Add a short reason why each one matters, not just the product name and price. -
Make the product pages answer buyer questions before checkout
For each main product, make delivery timing, sizing, materials, care details, returns, and who the item is made for easy to see near the Add to Cart button. -
Check where people are dropping off
In Shopify Analytics, compare:
-
sessions
-
product views
-
add to carts
-
reached checkout
-
completed checkout
That will tell you whether the issue is the homepage, the product pages, shipping costs, or checkout confidence.
The fastest improvement is likely to be: feature only available products, simplify the first shopping path, and guide visitors toward a small number of meaningful best sellers rather than making them browse the whole catalog.
What is the source of your traffic?
