High traffic, low conversion problem

We’re getting decent traffic from ads but conversion is stuck.

After digging, realized: People are confused, not uninterested.

They browse 5–6 products and leave.

Thinking of solving this with guided product finder or conversational assistant.

Recently tested an AI widget that behaves like a store assistant and suggests products.

Anyone here improved conversion using something similar?

Yes I recently tried something similar on my store an AI shopping assistant with virtual try-on. Honestly, the response has been really good. Earlier users used to browse 4–5 products and leave but now they try products virtually and are more confident in purchasing.

It feels like they’re getting proper guidance instead of just browsing randomly, which is clearly helping improve conversions.

For every high traffic, low sales problem, I use upsell apps, pre-purchase to be precise.

Make sure to use the discount bar; the key here is urgency and gamification.

See Gymshark’s cart drawer. They are one of the biggest Shopify brands in the world.

They use a free shipping bar. Do the same tactic. Add countdown timers as well to create urgency.
