Greetings
When a user or customer find a shopify store, can create an account if want and make orders from within this account, although shopify has build-in a signup and log-in/log-out system, a cannot find how a customer can delete the account from the dashboard, does anyone knows?

Hi @mpatsi , this is not an out of the box functionality but you can build a solution using “Delete a customer” API. You can add the option in the customer portal and give them this control.

Another option could be to only add an “Account Closure” tab/form in the customer portal and take the reason from the customers why they want to delete/close the account so you can take it as a feedback from the and make improvement.

As Aakash_Kumar mentioned, this is not a built-in functionnality in Shopify, it can be done throught your Admin dashboard, and since this issue has become more frequent, especially with new data regulations GDPR in Europe, PDPL example in Saudi Arabia and others.
