Hi My free trial for shopify expiring tomorrow sept 29, I wanted to cancel my subscription, and deactivated my store. However inactive store still have my payment card details saved. Am afraid I would be charged. Please delete my payment method on my account settings. Myshopify store is waldorfjewels.myshopify.com
Hi @KVou , you can deactivate your store from the Shopify admin and after deactivation your card will not be charged.
I am adding couple of screenshots showing steps that needs to be taken on your end to deactivate your store.

You have to select a plan for the card to be charged. However, I understand why you’d want to remove personal information from the account if you plan to close it.
Also, you mentioned the store is inactive right now, is that correct? So, are you unable to login into the account?
Cards cannot be removed from your Shopify account through the admin, they can only be replaced. This is to ensure that a card is always available to charge when your invoice is due. Once you add a new card to your account, this is the only card that will be charged. If you want the card removed from your account, I invite you to visit our Contact Us page. As we cannot look into account specifics via Community, our Advisors team will be able to review your account and get this actioned.
