How can I change my business registration status on my account?

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great day. :slightly_smiling_face:

I am having a little trouble, because when I set up my account, I accidentally checked the box “this is a registered business” at the start of my account setup. Now when I have to set up Shopify payments, I realized my mistake as now I need a BRN and HKID and stuff like that (I’m in Hong Kong) to prove that I have a registered business, but I don’t. Im afraid I might get sued or in some big financial trouble. Is there any way to uncheck the box that it is a registered business other than starting a new store?

I don’t have a registered business and I am a dropshipper.

The requirements you’re seeing for documentation for a payments account are not related to this choice as they are collected from all Shopify merchants wishing to use Shopify Payments Hong Kong.
