How can I include a customer metafield when adding a new customer on POS?

So on Shopify POS, when you add a new customer only fields possible are First name, Last name, Email and Phone number. Although tried adding Customer Metafield(for adding TRN number), The field is not visible. Currently adding Last name as “TRN number :123” for example to sort this issue. Checking if there’s a way to include Customer Metafield when adding new customer? Thanks

I just went through the same process and see that customer metafields are not exposed in the POS. It seems that the product metafields are available in POS:

We would like to add the customer’s birthday to our customer profile. And we work mostly through the sale of products in the POS. So it would be very useful to have customer metafields visible in the POS.

We are implementing customer profile metafields to capture at the Shopify POS and perplexed that customer metafields are not exposed in the POS customer record. This is such a simple add.
