is there a way i can find out the total income ive made from UK customers / USA customers ect…

monthly or yearly ?

Is there a way to block all non UK customers at checkout with a message popup.

I understand you’re looking for a way to find out the total income you’ve made from UK/USA customers on a monthly or yearly basis. If your store is on the Shopify plan ($79) or higher, then you have access to advanced reporting. Advanced reporting allows you to generate a Sales report, where you can use the Sales over time report and add a column for Billing country/region. From there, you can also export your report to a CSV (comma separated values). With the Shopify Advanced plan ($299), you can create a custom report and specify the data you want generated on the report.

Here’s how the Sales over time report looks like:

Alternatively, you can also set up Google Analytics or by using a third-party app, such as DeepMine or Lucky Orange, for this type of reporting. If you’re not on the Shopify plan or higher and you don’t want to upgrade your plan, then either of these options is recommended. If you need any help with these apps, you can always reach out to the developers through the contact information found in the Support section of their app pages.

Since the checkout is a secured area of Shopify and not available for customizations (with the exception of Shopify Plus stores), you won’t be able to put a pop-up in the checkout. However, you can remove the other countries from your shipping zones or add a fraud filter to block non-UK customers from checking out. If Fraud Filter is something that interests you, we’ve also got a step-by-step guide to help with setting up Fraud Filter. However, if you’d like to display a pop-up before the checkout (eg. homepage, product page, or cart page), you can use a third-party pop-up or announcement app.

I’d love to learn more about your business. Which plan are you using at the moment? Also, is there a particular reason you’d want to block all non-UK customers from checking out?

its not with paying the extra just for me to look at the information just one time i think at this stage.

The reason to block all non UK customers, is i now have to charge 20 percent vat in EU customers and alot has changed now since brexit, so i just want to focus on UK customers at the moment and need a way to stop non uk customers checking out. Excellent idea regarding that btw.

Thanks ill look for a way to check the google thing and see if there is a work around, i really appreciate all the help.

Thank you for joining the thread!

The Sales over time report can be found in the Reports section of the Analytics from your admin (‘Analytics > Reports > Sales > Sales over time’). From there, you can add the column for country by editing the columns.
